Views of the Bay Area Coast

A show all about where the land meets the sea, the edges of the city and the edges of the coastline.  The show includes work from 45 local artists, ranging from the gritty beauty of San Francisco piers to lovely views up and down the coast, from Jenner south to Monterey.  A collection of shoreline birds, ocean critters and small sculptures, all inspired by sea, rounds out the show.   The show includes paintings from Rab Terry, Lindsey Kustusch, Wilma Parker, Bill Cone, Kanna Aoki, Lana Purnell, David Cheifetz, Karen White, Chris Grassano, Michael Chamberlain, Christin Coy, Scott Grabowski, Margaret Wade, Richard Lindenberg, Miho Simunovic, Christopher Newhard, Cameron Chun, Chiami Sekine, Chris Adessa, Gina Tecson, Brent Bushnell, Floy Zittin, Timon Sloane, Sofia Carmi, Felicia Forte, Jean Sanchirico, Leslie Allen and Andy Ballantyne, mixed media pieces by Catherine Mackey, Sofia Harrison, Leslie Morgan and Charlene Kelley, etchings by Alice Gibbons, photos by Pep Ventosa and Barbara Traub, maps from Niana Liu and J-Storm, 3D photo collages by Jackson Fahnestock, sculptures from Liz Mamorsky, Jack Stelnicki and Rebecca Saylor, a drawing from Elizabeth Ashcroft, a new video installation from Koji Nagao, ceramics from Lorna Newlin and Terrie Raphael, and even a cabinet from Stephen Bucci.  It's a lovely summer show!
