Knock-Outs
work that packs a punch

Every once in a while we like to check in with some of our favorite artists and see what they've been up to; the result is Knock-Outs, a show of new pieces from gallery artists.  Some of our long-standing stars are headlining:  Paul Ferney, Brian Behnke, Chiami Sekine, Jake Wrench, Richard Benbrook, Trevor Meeker and Jim Rosenau.  There are larger pieces from Rab Terry, Lindsey Kustusch, and Wendy Miller.  Michael Chamberlain, Claudia Rilling, Jonathan Ahn and Mamie Walters have contributed cityscapes, while Christin Coy, Richard Lindenberg and Karen White represent the landscape contingent.  There are delicious still lifes from Mike Moss and Margaret Tcheng Ware, and prints from Teerawat Palanitisena and Tsungwei Moo.  And we wanted to see more work from some of our newer artists:  an ink drawing from Mia Christopher, watercolors from Chris Beck, and terrific sculptures with a companion video from Koji Nagao.  The slideshow below will give you a look at some of the work from the show.
