Oakland painter Brandon Smith is a rising star who is gaining a reputation beyond his native California. A versatile painter, Brandon is known for his paintings of the Bay Area, both urban and rural, as well as his figurative pieces, especially his cafe series. Recently he's completed a series of plein air paintings of the Alameda waterfront.
